Fast design turnaround

Design can be an iterative process but it doesn’t have to waste your time and money. Cutting through the iterations to arrive at a final design faster is something we excel at. It comes with experience. We believe that seeing the application / issue in person, asking the right questions up front and deciding on a concept before investing too much time in CAD are key to starting design in the right direction and from there, we employ techniques such as skeletal and parametric modelling when appropriate to get you to the destination faster.

Professional drawings in your native system with your templates

There’s nothing worse than receiving a design thinking that you saved time by outsourcing, only to then have to waste time converting file formats, changing templates and updating title blocks- except perhaps receiving nothing more than a step file or pdf! We believe that if you paid for the design then you own it. That means we give you your design in your native format on your title block.

Reverse engineering – not just copying

The delays involved with international manufacture and shipping are making local manufacture a viable option once again, however, removing worn parts from machinery and simply making a copy can cause premature failure and more downtime. Just because a shaft measures 0.02 under doesn’t mean it was originally manufactured that way- especially if the reason you are replacing it is because of a worn keyway. There are lots of factors to consider when making a drawing of a replacement machine component such as what alloy and heat treatment condition it should be, what tolerances to put on critical features and should the design be altered to avoid a repeat failure.
